A significant milestone in our journey, the award underscores our dedication to simplifying the lives of IT professionals and maximizing their Microsoft Cloud and end-user computing investment.
To commemorate this achievement, we wanted to take a moment with our co-founders, CEO Vadim Vladimirskiy and CRO Joseph Landes, to hear their thoughts on this prestigious award and the Nerdio journey.
A moment of pride
Winning the Microsoft Partner of the Year Award is an incredible accomplishment for Nerdio and a personal triumph for our team. When asked what the award meant to him, Joseph, who spent 23 years at Microsoft and has judged numerous Partner of the Year awards himself, shared, “I know how hard it is to win any of the awards. The competition is fierce with tons of great submissions. I take great pride on behalf of our company for winning this award!”
Vadim also expressed his excitement, “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. It’s a validation of our commitment to excellence and our relentless focus on customer success.”
Key milestones of success
The Nerdio journey has been marked by many strategic decisions along the way. One of those was placing a bet on the Azure Marketplace. The payout was immediate — rapid and effective growth. As Joseph noted, “Being ‘open for business’ instantly in more than 100 countries was a huge advantage. As we grew, the capabilities of the Marketplace grew, and we are glad we made this bet.”
“Choosing the Azure Marketplace was a game-changer for us,” agreed Vadim. It allowed us to reach a global audience almost overnight and provided a robust platform for our solutions.”
Nerdio and Microsoft’s evolving partnership
Our partnership has been the cornerstone of Nerdio’s growth and success, extending across engineering, sales, and marketing. Vadim reflected on this unique relationship, “We took a bet on building solutions exclusively for Microsoft Azure, and we are glad we did. The support we have received from Microsoft has been extraordinary.”
While initial Nerdio efforts focused on the U.S. market, Microsoft’s support in co-selling helped the company quickly expand to other geographies. ”The collaboration with Microsoft has been pivotal,” Joseph highlighted. “Their support of Nerdio in co-selling and market expansion has significantly amplified our reach and impact.”
Innovation and leadership
As the only ISV in the DaaS space with an exclusive focus on Microsoft Cloud and its technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Intune, Nerdio is different than most partners. That laser focus has enabled us to drive technological advancements in desktop as a service (DaaS) and truly address critical customer problems.
Vadim noted, “Our deep integration with Microsoft Azure ensures that our customers always have access to the latest innovations and highest quality solutions. This award is a recognition of that dedication.”
