A comprehensive program designed to help MSP professionals get the most out of Nerdio Manager for MSP.
Build mastery across the full MSP platform
Over the course of eight sessions, you will build a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively deploy, manage, and optimize cloud environments using Nerdio Manager for MSP alongside Microsoft 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). You'll start by exploring platform features, automation, and integrations, then progress into device management, policy configuration, and security best practices.
As the series continues, you'll learn how to standardize environments at scale, strengthen security posture, and support modern workplace needs. The later sessions focus on designing and delivering DaaS solutions, managing Windows 365 and AVD environments, and mastering host pools, image lifecycle management, and automation. By the end, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to optimize performance, control costs, and maintain resilient, scalable cloud infrastructures for your customers.
The eight sessions will cover four total weeks, running two sessions a week.

Session 1
Nerdio Manager for MSP: Updates and Features
Review the latest updates and enhancements to NMM. Walk through adding accounts, leveraging Partner Center integration, exploring Nerdio Manager: Gov Edition, and using Insights dashboards for better decision-making. Learn to configure Resource Selection Rules, understand the Prerequisite model, and automate with Workflows and Notifications.
Session 2
NMM + Microsoft 365: Intune Management
Explore the advantages of Microsoft 365 and Business Premium and learn to effectively manage devices. Covers creating, importing, and editing Intune policies, Group Policy templates, Recovery Services, Policy Baselines, CIS benchmarks, and device enrollment strategies to streamline deployment and ongoing management.

NMM + Microsoft 365: Solution Baselines
Learn how to use Solution Baselines to standardize and manage customer tenant configurations at scale. Apply security best-practice templates from CIS and Huntress, monitor configuration changes and policy drift, compare expected vs. current settings, and maintain consistent compliance. Also covers Windows Update for Business.
Session 4
NMM + Microsoft 365: Security for the Modern Workplace
Explore why security is critical to Microsoft 365 and the modern workplace. Manage on-premises and cloud users, configure MFA, identify and respond to risky sign-ins, streamline offboarding with templates, and administer Exchange Online. Leverage vulnerability reports, Secure Score insights, Console Connect, and centralized reporting.

NMM: Scope for DaaS Solutions
Learn how to conduct an effective discovery process to determine whether an opportunity is a strong fit for Desktop as a Service (DaaS). Covers key qualification questions, evaluating customer needs, choosing between AVD and Windows 365, plus practical guidance on pricing strategies, optimizing margins, and packaging cloud solutions.

NMM: Windows 365, User Hierarchy & AVD User Experience Settings
Revisit why AVD is still relevant, then learn how to set up and manage Windows 365 environments within Nerdio Manager. Understand the Nerdio user hierarchy and configure FSLogix and RDP profiles for Azure Virtual Desktop to deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience.
Session 7
NMM + AVD: Host Pools, Image Setup & Lifecycle Management
Learn to add, configure, and manage host pools in Azure Virtual Desktop with best practices for administering and scaling virtual desktop environments. Covers creating, managing, and automating image workflows and using variables within scripts and policies to dynamically pull environment data for greater flexibility.
Session 8
NMM + AVD: Updating Hosts, UAM, Auto-scale & Backup/Recovery
Learn to update and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop hosts using recommended lifecycle management practices. Covers managing applications across cloud endpoints, configuring Auto-scale to power hosts on and off to optimize costs, and protecting infrastructure by backing up and recovering Azure VMs and Azure File Shares.
