Nerdio Manager for MSP
Running multiple customer tenants is relentless, and the small manual tasks end up being the biggest time sinks. A good release, however, takes some of that off your plate. Nerdio Manager for MSP v7.2 is available now, and here are four updates managed service providers (MSPs) will be glad to have.
1. Offboard a user the moment you need to
Nerdio Manager for MSP already offers user offboarding templates, but offboarding users still means setting a specific date and waiting out the normal execution timing. The problem is that when there's an urgent termination or a compromised account, that isn't fast enough.
So, we’ve updated the user offboarding flows to include a “Run Instantly” checkbox next to the date picker. Turn it on, and every Before and During action runs in sequence as soon as you confirm. After actions still follow their normal schedule.
This way, access gets revoked the moment you need it revoked, and the scheduled follow-up still happens on its own time.

2. Schedule image tasks around Patch Tuesday automatically
Microsoft releases updates on the second Tuesday of each month, and desktop images usually need their scripted actions to run a few days later once that month's patches are validated. Getting the timing right usually means hand-calculating and resetting a date every single month.
Scheduled tasks on desktop images now include a monthly after "Patch Tuesday" repeat option, plus a days after field to set your offset. Set it once, and the task lands in the right window every cycle.
3. Keep governing Conditional Access as Microsoft extends it to agent identities
Microsoft is extending Conditional Access to cover agent identities and agent resources. That's welcome, but it raises a question for your management layer: If a customer policy targets those new options and your tooling can't handle them, the policy could fail to publish or quietly fall out of drift monitoring.
Nerdio Manager's Conditional Access management now supports Microsoft's All Agent Identity and All Agent Resources targeting options for both Include and Exclude. They're handled through the Preserve from source option, so a policy that uses them publishes successfully and stays covered by drift detection. This means you can adopt Microsoft's latest Conditional Access capabilities right away and keep those policies governed like any other, rather than having to manage them outside of Nerdio Manager.
4. Vip user protection
Not every technician should be able to modify or offboard a customer's CEO or a key contact. One wrong action on a high-profile account now… one uncomfortable call later.
VIP user protection lets you mark accounts as VIP and control which role-based access control (RBAC) roles are able to modify and offboard them, thus preventing accidental or unauthorized offboarding of the accounts that matter most.
