Nerdio Manager for Enterprise v7.6 introduces new capabilities across Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, and Windows 365 management, application delivery, and endpoint observability.
This release focuses on improving how administrators onboard environments, manage host pools and images, deploy applications, and monitor both virtual and physical endpoints. Here are some of the key enhancements included in this release:
Cross-tenant Intune and Windows 365 management
Nerdio Manager for Enterprise v7.6 introduces cross-tenant management for Intune and Windows 365 in public preview. Administrators can now link additional Intune tenants and manage devices from a single Nerdio console, reducing the need to switch between management portals.
Streamlined Azure Virtual Desktop host pool management
Several enhancements in v7.6 simplify host pool onboarding and ongoing operations for large Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
Key updates include:
- A unified host pool view that consolidates dynamic and static host pools.
- The ability to onboard multiple existing host pools at once.
These improvements help administrators more efficiently bring complex AVD environments under centralized management.
More flexible image and automation workflows
Image and automation workflows have been expanded to provide greater control over how changes are applied during image creation and maintenance.
When using “set as image,” administrators can now choose whether applications and scripted actions are deployed to the source image or the cloned image. This allows for more precise control over image customization and reduces the risk of unintended changes.
Additional improvements include:
- Expanded imaging process logging.
- The option to deploy scripted actions without automatically enabling drain mode.
- Inclusion of scripted actions when cloning host pools.
Real-Time Insights for physical endpoints
Real-Time Insights in Nerdio Manager for Enterprise v7.6 now supports physical endpoints managed by Intune.
Administrators can monitor both virtual and physical devices using the same observability framework, with access to real-time performance data, connectivity information, and configurable alert thresholds.
This expansion brings physical endpoints into the same monitoring model as AVD and Windows 365 environments.
Additional enhancements
Alongside these major enhancements, Nerdio Manager for Enterprise v7.6 includes improvements across observability, reporting, and scalability—supporting larger environments and more complex operational requirements.
Nerdio Manager for Enterprise v7.6 continues to extend centralized control across Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Intune, and physical endpoints, helping IT teams operate modern endpoint environments with greater consistency, visibility, and confidence.
