Whether you’re a NerdioCon veteran or a first-timer, we know you’ve got questions—and we’ve got answers!
1. Will the sessions be recorded and shared?
No, sessions will not be recorded, so be sure to take notes, ask questions, and soak up all the insights in real time. The best way to get the full NerdioCon experience is to be there in person!
2. Do I need to book my own flights and hotel room?
Yes! We handle the epic event—you handle getting yourself there.
Once you register, you’ll get an email with a link to book your hotel. Can’t find it? Hit us up at nerdiocon@getnerdio.com, and we’ll send it your way.
Heads up: A one-night deposit is required, and you’ll need a credit card on file for incidentals. If you are receiving a hosted pass for NerdioCon, this will be fully refunded to you upon checkout.

3. Can I extend my stay at the hotel before or after the event?
Yes, but availability is limited. NerdioCon is right before Coachella, so rooms will fill up fast. Contact the hotel directly to make it happen.
4. Can I bring guests? Will they have access to sessions and parties?
You can bring a guest (or guests), but here’s the deal:
- If you have more than two people in your room, the hotel will charge an extra $10 per guest per night.
- NerdioCon sessions and events are for registered attendees only—so no plus-ones at sessions or parties this year.
5. How do I get to/from the NerdioCon location?
We wish we could offer a NerdioCon hovercraft, but alas, we can’t quite yet, so you’ll need to arrange your own transportation.
There is no shuttle service, so you can rent a car, grab a taxi, or order the rideshare service of your choice from Palm Springs International Airport (PSP).
6. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Of course! Just let us know on your registration form, and we’ll make sure you’re covered.
7. Previous NerdioCons have been at all-inclusive resorts. What’s the deal with dining this year?
Not to worry! Just like in previous years, we’ve got all your meals and drinks covered during the event. But if you’re dining or drinking outside of scheduled activities, you’ll be on your own.
8. What is the NerdioCon dress code?
Business casual for sessions and networking. Comfort is key—you’ll be moving around a lot! If you’re visiting any hotel restaurants, we encourage you to check out their specific guidance on the website.
And when it comes to themed parties, show up, stand out, and bring your A-game. No holds barred (okay, minor holds barred, but as long as we’re within good taste).
9. What are the party themes?
This year, we’re going full retro and high-roller mode!
- Welcome Party: Pam Springs theme – Think retro glam, desert chic, and classic California cool. Soak up the sunshine, sip a cocktail, and kick off NerdioCon in true Palm Springs style!
- Day 2: Clue – Step into a real-life game of Clue in the vendor hall—solve mysteries, uncover secrets, and crack the case!
- Closing Party: Casino Night – Dress like you just stepped off a high-stakes Vegas floor and get ready for a night of cards, cocktails, and celebration.
10. I heard there’s a pool. Are poolside meetings really a thing?
There are actually 41 pools, and 100%! In fact, we encourage it. Nothing says “cutting-edge IT innovation” like a strategic conversation while sipping a drink by the water. Just maybe leave your laptop in your room.
