NerdioCon 2025: April 7-9, Palm Springs, CA

What is the NVP Program?

“NVP” is short for “Nerdio Valued Professional,” an initiative that recognizes individuals who voluntarily support Nerdio, its products, initiatives, and vision. Anyone can be an NVP, regardless of whether they are a Nerdio customer, including tech enthusiasts, bloggers, and those who work for distributor partners or at Microsoft.

Benefits Of Becoming An NVP

Being named an NVP sets you apart from peers and colleagues in the EUC and IT spaces as it shows not only that you know your stuff when it comes to Nerdio, Azure, and virtual desktops in general – but that Nerdio knows you know and have decided to publicly recognize you as a trusted partner and leading voice in Nerdio’s community or the communities you belong to. Being an NVP showcases you are exceptionally tapped into and concerned about innovation and the future of your industry and technology.  Lastly, consistent dedication to our company, people and future means a lot to us and we try to give something back as equally meaningful. NVPs will receive exclusive perks and access, not limited to (but likely including) Nerdio swag, early access to our new product roadmap before features are released, event tickets and discounts, and much more!

Stefan Beckmann

Senior Cloud Consultant

My name is Stefan Beckmann, and I am currently working as a Senior Azure Consultant at baseVISION AG in Switzerland, near Bern. Since 1999, I have been involved with various service providers, handling various technologies. My primary responsibilities have long included the automated deployment of both physical and virtual workplaces, as well as the operation and advancement of data centers. Since 2018, my focus has shifted towards Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop. I joined baseVISION in the summer of 2022 to support our corporate clients in designing and implementing Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop projects.

Even before I started implementing the first projects with Azure Virtual Desktop, it was clear that I would use Nerdio. I implemented the Nerdio Manager for Enterprise for one of the first AVD customers and built up experience with Nerdio Manager for MSP.

To this day, I can recommend Nerdio for every new Azure Virtual Desktop project right from the start and convince the customer of the added value.

What does being an NVP mean to you?

For me, it’s clear that if I’m enthusiastic about a product and have the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement, then I’m happy to do so. I also try to pass on my enthusiasm for a product to the people around me, be they customers or colleagues. In addition, the community has always been important to me, and I want to give something back there as well. Receiving the NVP title is an honor for me. It gives me the opportunity to dig deeper into the product and get closer to the Nerdio team to improve the product and incorporate customer feedback into the development.

Dominiek Verham

Senior Consultant, E-office

Hi! My name is Dominiek Verham, and I live in the Netherlands. I’ve been working in IT for about 20 years. Like many at that time, I always worked with Microsoft server products like Exchange, SQL, and, of course, Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, and Ivanti (RES) back then. In 2016, I started my journey with configuring desktops using MDT, and I became interested in Microsoft cloud products. I started out with Microsoft Intune and then continued with Azure infrastructure, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows 365. During that time, I learned about Nerdio, and I immediately loved how Nerdio simplified the process of configuring and managing AVD and saved costs at the same time. Nowadays, Nerdio has become a lot more than that, and I am truly honored to be part of the journey! Next to being a Nerdio NVP, I am also a Microsoft MVP for Windows 365, author and take part in multiple tech communities. You can follow me on my personal blog, where you can expect posts about Nerdio Manager!

What does being an NVP mean to you?

Being a part of the Nerdio NVP program is a huge honor! It allows me to interact with the product group and provide feedback on the product. I love to share knowledge with the community via my website.

Johan Vanneuville

System Engineer, Cheops Technology

Hello, I’m Johan Vanneuville. I’m currently working as an Azure architect for Cheops Technology in Belgium. In the last 10 years I worked in different roles from helpdesk to designing Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
In the last couple of years I also got very active in the community and was recognised by Microsoft with the MVP award for my contributions in the AVD community. Next to that, Nerdio awarded me with the NVP award in 2022.

What does being an NVP mean to you?

It was and still is a huge honor of being an NVP. It gives me the opportunity to engage with the people from NErdio and with the community and give feedback. It’s great to see the feedback that we give, being implemented in the product.

Dave Stephenson

Chief Technology Officer

I’ve been excited about computers and IT ever since we first got our first Windows PC and the Internet at home in the early 90’s. I was introduced into the world of IT when I was at my “regular” job and someone at work said, “My computer isn’t working, Can you take a look at it?”. That was all it took for me to be hooked and work in IT full-time. Through the years I’ve with and for small and medium companies, large enterprises, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). MSPs are what lead me to discover Nerdio. I first heard about Nerdio in December 2021 and went to the original Nerdio Training Camp (April 2022) and quickly fell in love with the Nerdio platform.  Since then, I’ve earned the NMM-140 Certification, 14 Microsoft Certifications, been a big supporter on the NMM (Nerdio Manager for MSPs) Forums, and was recently awarded the 1st Nerdio All-Around MVP – MSP award.

What does being an NVP mean to you?

Nerdio has a great community and has made huge strides since it was founded.

I am deeply honored to be one of the Nerdio NVPs. Being an NVP will allow me to speak from a place of “authority” when I tell people how awesome Nerdio is and why they need it and AVDs. Together with Nerdio, and the community, I’m sure we will continue to make innovative contributions in the AVD space!
