Transforming businesses with Nerdio and Microsoft

My name is Dane Young. I'm founder and CTO of my own business, which is called YoungTech. I believe that there's a really unique opportunity for Nerdio and Microsoft right now because of the change in the industry to really transform businesses and to enable them to do technology in ways that they haven't traditionally done with different customers. I think the best opportunity for Nerdio, for Windows 365 at scale, is the time to value.

Like getting into the environment and initially delivering tremendous value rapidly. I think one of the biggest opportunities for that is gonna be the end to end story that Nerdio can offer. It's not either or, it's and, and Nerdio has a big opportunity there to really complement what Microsoft is doing in ensuring that customers are taking full advantage of all the capabilities that they have. One of the biggest shifts that we've been observing is that the acceleration, the time to value, is really driving more use cases than anybody would have otherwise projected.

You're not talking about six to eighteen month projects, you're talking about four to six week projects. Customers are able to get quicker time to value, which is actually amplifying the amount of of virtual desktops or Win365 Cloud PCs that they can actually take advantage of. Oftentimes in our industry we use the hammer and nail expression. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail, and that's not the approach that we should be taking with AVD or Win365.

We need to be taking a much more surgical approach where we're catering the use cases and catering the deployment method to what's best for that use case. I think the biggest competitive battle that's happening right now in the industry is really Nerdio and Microsoft versus the world. And so when it comes to competing AVD versus Win365, I think that's the wrong conversation. Customers need to be picking the right solution for the use case.
