Ensure business continuity with Cross-Region Disaster Recovery
NME 6.6 introduces Cross-Region Disaster Recovery (DR) Support for Windows 365 Cloud PCs. Leveraging the built-in DR capabilities of Windows 365, you can now replicate your Cloud PCs to a secondary Azure region.
Game changers for business continuity managers, disaster recovery specialists, and IT security administrators:
- Enhanced resilience for your Cloud PC environment from regional failures or disasters.
- Assured business continuity with minimized downtime and minimal interruptions.
- Simplified disaster recovery activation and management for your Cloud PCs within Nerdio Manager for Enterprise.
In the event of an outage in your primary region, Nerdio Manager for Enterprise automatically activates the backup Cloud PCs in the secondary region, allowing your users to continue working seamlessly with minimal disruption and access to critical applications and data.
Never worry about regional outages disrupting your business again!
Fine-tune auto-scaling with Scale-in Aggressiveness
Nerdio Manager for Enterprise Premium users can now fine-tune their auto-scaling strategies with configurable Scale-in Aggressiveness for Rolling Drain Mode. This new feature gives you granular control over how aggressively NME scales in your environment during specific time windows.
Choose from “High”, “Medium”, or “Low” aggressiveness levels to balance cost savings with AVD availability, minimizing Azure costs during off-peak hours while ensuring sufficient resources are available when needed.
Key benefits for IT cost optimization specialists, AVD administrators, and cloud architects:
- Increased cost savings with optimized auto-scaling to further reduce Azure costs during off-peak hours.
- Improved resource utilization to efficiently manage session hosts, avoiding over-provisioning.
- Enhanced control over your auto-scaling strategy.
