In this session, we are going to cover a very interesting topic and piece of functionality known as on-ramp regions. Oftentimes, a company may have their headquarters let's say, in Chicago and are primarily using Azure services in the central region data center from Microsoft. but they may also have employees scattered around other parts of the United States or the world and want those employees to have their virtual desktops closer to them and served out of Microsoft's Azure regions in closer proximity to the employee. For example, their employee in New York could now have her desktop served up to her from east US data center to minimize latency. This is the beauty of on ramp regions, bringing the resources of Microsoft Azure closer to where they will be consumed. In this session, we will show you how to implement on ramp regions in Nerdio for Azure. Enjoy the session.
In this session, we are going to discuss networking in Dionne for Azure. We'll talk about VPN gateway and its associated pricing, how to add VPN connections, role-based versus policy-based VPNs, firewalls and firewall rules, and IP address costs. A very important topic to understand when considering how to build a successful cloud practice in Microsoft Azure. Enjoy the session.
In this session, we're going to talk about how to manage users in Nerdio for Azure. This is certainly one of the richest and most important topics as users form the basis of so much that happens when interacting with Nerdio for Azure. You'll learn how to add a new user, edit a current user, and much more. Enjoy the session.
In this session we are going to continue to talk about hybrid active directory, otherwise known as hybrid AD. We'll dive deeper into the functionality contained in Nerdio for Azure, and how MSPs can take advantage of hybrid AD as their customers continue to move from on-premise environments to the cloud with Microsoft Azure. Enjoy the session.
In this session we're going to talk about an incredibly interesting and relevant topic, hybrid active directory, otherwise known as hybrid AD. At Nerdio, we have many partners whose customers are in the process of moving their on premise environments to the cloud and want to take advantage of the hybrid AD functionality built into our product. This will be the first of multiple sessions covering hybrid AD. Enjoy the session.
In this session, we are going to talk about Nerdio for Azure and specifically address the topic of directory and adding users. You will learn that there are three recommended ways to do this: a Greenfield Active Directory deployment where we import users via CSV or add them via the UI, a Greenfield Active Directory deployment with existing Office 365 where we import users directly from Office 365, and a hybrid AD scenario where we have a Greenfield deployment and then plug it into the existing AD environment.
In this session, we are going to continue with our discussion on how to provision and Azure environment using Nerdio. In the last session, we focused on the provisioning of private networks and the storage environment, and we will continue by showing you how to stand up the rest of the environment, including the active directory domain controller, ADFS, the file server, Office 365, the RDS environment, the golden VDI image, the first VDI desktop, and more. Enjoy the session.
In this session, we are going to walk you through how to provision an account using the Nerdio admin portal. This is the first action you will take in terms of onboarding a new customer into Azure. As you will see, this is easy as one, two, three. Connect to an Azure account, connect to an Office 365 account, click save, and your customer will be provisioned in Azure in two hours or less. We'll talk specifically in this session about provisioning private networks and network security groups, as well as provisioning the storage environment. Enjoy the session.
